Jennifer Lopez shares a Childhood Love story

“I was probably around 10 or 11,” she recalled with a smile. “There was this boy in my neighborhood who I thought was the cutest thing ever. We would play in the park together, and I remember always trying to impress him by being the fastest runner or climbing the highest tree.”

Lopez described how innocent and pure those feelings were, with no grand romantic gestures—just the excitement of being around someone she liked. “It was just that feeling of being happy when you saw them. That’s what childhood love was like for me—simple and fun.”

Looking back, Lopez shared how that early experience helped her understand the nature of love and relationships. “Even at that age, I think we learn about connection. It’s those first crushes that teach us about ourselves, what makes us feel special, and how to open up emotionally.”
